For those who are new here, my name is Stephanie, and you may remember me from my previous business, Just Picnic Events. My background has always been in customer service, and I’ve always been someone who loves trying new things and exploring new opportunities. It was during my pregnancy with my daughter that I realised I wanted to step into the styling industry and create something of my own. I began with pop-up picnics on the Gold Coast, growing Just Picnic Events into a luxury pop-up picnic business that truly became one of my babies.
In 2022, our family made a sea change and moved back to Maryborough, QLD - my husband’s hometown, just past Gympie and before Hervey Bay. We’ve fallen in love with the slower pace and close-knit community, and it was during this transition that my vision evolved. I felt drawn to be more involved in weddings, planning and styling on a deeper level. Being a bride myself, I know firsthand how much work, emotion and detail goes into a wedding day, and I wanted to support couples through that journey in a meaningful way.
As I stepped into this new chapter, I rebranded my business to Soirée Styled Events — a name that reflects my approach to event styling: beautifully intimate gatherings created with elegance, sophistication and simplicity at their core. For me, it’s about capturing the essence of each occasion while keeping the process effortless and enjoyable.
I’m 37 years old, a proud wife and mum to our beautiful daughter, who was born in 2018. When I’m not helping couples and clients bring their dream events to life, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking (I’m a huge foodie), searching for the perfect coffee as a self-confessed coffee lover, or renovating our 80-year-old Queenslander home and a work in progress that we’re lovingly restoring step by step.
I am truly passionate about what I do and believe every event, no matter how big or small, deserves thoughtful detail, creativity and a personal touch.
